GET Hospital was founded in 1989,and went into official operation in 1992.During the early five years, GET Hospital cooperated with the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical College and administrated as a branch of it, and this made GET Hospital started at a high point. In the end of 1997, Chinese association of Medicinal Biotechnology and GET Administration Committee cooperate to found China Southern Center of Biological Diagnosis and Therapy(CSBC), as the 2nd appellation of GET Hospital. GET Hospital emphasizes to introduce advanced bio-medical diagnosis and therapy technologies as the hospital's important features, to accelerate developing the hospital into a modern general hospital which integrating functions of medical treatment, health care, disease preventing, and rehabilitation.
